Maps drawn as a guide to a destination, from here to there, but starting from the destination, from there. Maps which only tell you what you need to know. Maps which only refer to the closest space to the destination and which have no reference to the starting point, or to points between. Maps offered up by strangers in an unfamiliar location to point the way. Maps which are ephemeral, made for one day, one time, one journey.

Drawn by Tom: the marks hold memory of his hand drawing, his voice explaining and through those, his whole presence.

Map made by someone who draws, with a freedom and pleasure in the drawing.

Maps becoming increasingly minimal until they are almost just a single symbol, a punctuation.
